Stephen Gray is the Managing Director at KO Electrical, where he brings extensive expertise in business development, compliance, and process improvement.

Stephen, a former apprentice in Ireland, quickly mastered his craft, began as an apprentice fixing faults in industrial machines. His talent led him to Australia, where he quickly became an electrical manager, and worked for over a decade on various complex projects before founding KO Electrical.

His portfolio includes managing the electrical specification and fit out of multi-million-dollar projects on prefabricated modular buildings, such as Nauru Island Hospital, The Australian Embassy of Morocco, and various new school projects across NSW.

Stephen is an expert in smart systems and cutting-edge electrical technologies like intelligent lighting and smart home automation, using these innovations to enhance efficiency and minimise errors. His passion lies in industrial projects, where he takes great pride in his work and values excellent craftsmanship.

In starting KO, he relishes the opportunity to build something meaningful for his family’s future.

Karl, our Managing Director, excels at organising jobs, conducting site visits, managing schedules, and collaborating with client project managers.

With a background as a domestic electrician in Ireland, he later transitioned to working as a supervisor, specialising in electrical and dry fire systems.

Karl’s expertise lies in fire systems, and his extensive experience reflects his mastery of the subject. He finds joy in starting his day early, being productive, immersing himself fully in his work, allowing him to momentarily escape from everything else.
